Holocaust Remeberence

Last Tuesday was Holocaust Rememberence Day, where we honor those that were lost in the Holocaust. Although Jews are always remembered, we must also remember all who were thought not good enough by the Nazis. The Gypies, Polish, gays, and any person who was not blonde haired and blue eyed. Let us learn from these mistakes, as every anniversary tried to remind us to never forget. Every year we are left with less and less living survivors to describe the gut wrenching and horrible things done in WWII, in the concentrations camps. Movies and tributes played all day, and yet is it enough? That was a prodrome for what Suddam Hussein did to his own people, another act of genocide. Ironic that both thought they were ridding their country of 'lesser' people. When I believe that everyone will agree how wrong they were. Let us never forget the past, for they are lessons and prodromes for the future.
